Our family have owned this car since 1944. On this site I will include information about the Austin Seven Ruby in general and BBM69 in particular. On the 28th March 1964 Dianne and I went on honeymoon in BBM69.
I do all the regular maintenance and repair work needed to keep her safely on the road. When working on the car or the components I have extracted as much information as I could about how and why I am doing things. This information will be continually added to the site, hopefully, this will be useful in the future when the car is handed on to new owners.
Dianne’s Dad bought BBM69 in 1944 FOR £75.

2022. We have completed 36000 miles driven since the last restoration in 1999. BBM still looks very good. We have continued up dating and improving our car as and when improvements become available and seem appropriate.
